7 million passengers riding the Shanghai Metro

132 days after hitting the 6 million passengers/day milestone, the Shanghai Metro carried 7 million passengers in a single day on Thursday 30th September, on the eve of the National Day holidays! It's the 17th time the record has been broken this year alone!
